Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between cabinet refacing and refinishing?

Cabinet refinishing simply refinishes your cabinet’s existing doors, whereas cabinet refacing replaces your cabinet doors and drawers to create a new custom design. Homeowners usually see the biggest benefits of transformation from refacing cabinets, not refinishing cabinets.

Should I reface or replace my cabinets?

There are a few factors that should be considered before deciding between replacing and refacing cabinets. You should evaluate the state of your kitchen cabinets, your budget, and whether or not you love the current layout of your kitchen. Refacing is a great option for those whose cabinet frames are in good shape, who are on a limited budget, or who are fine with the existing layout of their kitchen staying the same. Full-scale custom kitchen cabinet replacement offers more flexibility, but usually costs more than cabinet refacing.

How long does the refacing process take?

Since no two projects are the same, our custom doors and drawers take 2-3 weeks for production. Once production is completed, a majority of our jobs are completed in three days or less for an average kitchen. With the exception of some larger kitchens taking an upwards of five days to complete and bathrooms taking one day to install.

Do I have to empty everything out of my cabinets?

Yes, we require all cabinets to be empty of everything before starting a project. This ensures that our team of installers are able to complete your project to the highest level of quality.

I want to purchase new appliances, will they fit into my existing cabinets?

Our sales consultant will come out and confirm and adjust the cabinet as required to ensure that your new appliances fit correctly. It is important that you have the specifications for all new appliances present when the sales consultant visits your home.

Do you offer financing?

Currently we are unable to provide our clients with direct financing. Please check back as we are working to offer this service to our future clients.

Is it more cost effective to reface or replace my cabinets?

Cabinet refacing is more cost effective than new cabinets due to only replacing the draws and doors. Cabinet refacing still offers homeowners the ability to customize and achieve a fully transformative look with some limitations. New cabinets provide unlimited possibilities for customization but comes at a higher price point.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we provide a warranty for all of our cabinet refacing projects. We understand the stress that comes along with renovations that’s why we are here to make the process as easy as possible. Our team of customer service professionals will be here to offer continued support even after the dust settles.
